I mean, it's Matt Mathews for goodness' sake! How can you go wrong? Overall, the show was great. For the most part, it was visually good. The sound guy got it together towards the end, and video-wise not bad. But hey, it was the first show of a 3-week stint. They fell short on what was expected, I thought. The so-called interaction with the crowd fell short. If you're going to do something different in Vegas, you've got to wow them, bowl them over with something new. I mean, nothing new, typical rock show stuff. It will probably only get better after they work out some of the kinks.
